How do I sew a long skirt to use the sewing machine?
OK I have to do this for a project and I have to learn to do this … I know how the thread of the coil and other things but like I am sewing a skirt (I'm 5 '7 "and I wear long skirts must be below ankle) im guessing about 3 yds. of material, but how can I sew, I 'm so confused!
First, I would go to a store fabrics and pick a model you like and buy the correct amount of material appearing on the instructions of the back. what it does is expose the material needs and lay the pattern on top of the material. use pins to fix all the way around the pattern. Next time you sew it where directed. you will want to sew so everything is upside down. that way when you're done and turn right you will not see any seams. you can sew right on top of the pins, as they pull out after the completion of sewing. good luck!
